Opening Our Eyes

This is another beautiful story of a couple affected by the passage of Proposition 8 in California. Above all, whatever the outcome of the court rulings in the next few months, I think the most important value this story speaks of is compassion and love for all people, whatever their sexual orientation, ethnic background or personal circumstances - in the words of these women, opening our eyes to see the good in both ourselves and our neighbor.
