This week's issue of Newsweek magazine features a very helpful article entitled The Religious Case for Gay Marriage. As in similar resources I've tried to share here, this article outlines the basic reasons why the Bible has nothing at all to say against loving same-sex partnerships and in fact has a great deal to say in their favor. When you have a minute, you might consider taking the time to read through this thoughtful article with an open mind and heart - the more of us who inform ourselves about these questions the more we'll be able to share the good news that God's love does not exclude LGBT people but in fact is working slowly but surely to liberate us and help us fulfill our dream to find love, happiness, acceptance and peace.
