An Advent Conspiracy

To change the subject a little from the previous several posts, I really wanted to share this video here in response to the three senseless deaths that took place in the (literally) mad rush of Black Friday shopping here in the U.S. If this is what the holiday season is about, then I think we've strayed very far from the central message of compassion and care for the poor that's at the heart of all spiritual traditions of good will and peace. Perhaps this video might offer some food for thought for all of us as we try to tune out the craziness and remind ourselves of what's most important this time of year--family, friends, love, hope and sharing our blessings with others.

Peace,
P. Chuck
