It is Well

I thought that today I would share a video from one of the many protests that took place last weekend around the country in favor of equal marriage rights. The singers here are Jason and deMarco, a gay married couple whose music ministry brings them to churches all over the world and Alan Lett, their producer and also a recording artist himself.

This hymn, It is Well, has the power to speak to all of us -- whatever our background or circumstances -- of the hope we can find within us in a God who stands by us in our sorrows and who gives us strength and courage to overcome our fears and persevere.
